Kious, Rodgers, Barger, Holder & King, PLLC would like to congratulate Kianna Cooper as this year’s David W. Kious Scholarship recipient. Kianna is junior from Chattanooga and is majoring in Political Science/Pre-Law with a minor in Criminal Justice at MTSU. She plans on attending law school after graduation and becoming a lawyer “because I want to be a voice for those who cannot be heard.”
This scholarship was established in 2016 in memory of David Kious. Mr. Kious received his undergraduate degree in Political Science/Pre-law from MTSU and his law degree from the University of Tennessee. He was a founding partner of Kious, Rodgers, Barger, Holder and Kious, PLLC as well as Middle Tennessee Title, Southern Title Services and Lawyers Land & Title Services, LLC. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must be Political Science major with a Pre-law concentration. Each scholarship is for one academic year.
